Making products eligible or ineligible for quotes
Overview
Choose whether products can be added to quotes. This is helpful if certain items should only be purchased outright or are not quoteable.
Before you begin
Permissions for Catalog Management are required.
Step-by-step instructions

Open Catalog Manager.

Select a product or variant.

Navigate to the Advanced section of the edit product page.

Toggle Eligible for quoting ON or OFF.

Save your changes.
What customers see
If a product is not eligible for quoting:

The add to quote button is hidden.
-
The product won’t appear in quote searches.

Use the column Eligible For Quoting or Variant Eligible For Quoting for product variants.
