Adding custom messages to the product detail page

Overview

Custom messages help explain product details or set expectations (e.g., lead times, pickup only, or custom quote notes).

Before you begin

Requires access to Catalog Manager. Custom messages have a 140 character limit.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. Go to Catalog Manager.

  2. Select the product.

  3. Go to the 'Advanced' dropdown section

  4. Enter your message in the Custom message field.

  5. Save your changes.

What customers see

Messages will appear near pricing or availability, styled for clarity. If no message is entered, nothing will show.

Use the column Custom Message Box Content or Variant Custom Message Box Content for product variants.

  • Limit message to the allowed 140 character count
